East Africa On The Rise: Emerging markets for commercial forestry and timber construction

There is a growing market for renewable materials in the East African construction sector. A group of 25 leaders of the East African sustainable construction and commercial forestry industry are on an industry tour to Sweden (organised by the Swedish Embassy in Kenya and the Swedish Institute in a project called Woodlife Business) and will be present at Trä&Teknik. In this presentation, they will share the ongoing work in the region and the opportunities it presents for exchange, partnerships and collaboration with Swedish actors.
