The history of TILLY began in 1981 with the purchase of a sawmill in Althofen. What started as a modest operation developed over the years through dedication and a clear focus on quality and sustainability. In 1985, the first solid wood panel production facility was built – laying the foundation for what we stand for today: high-quality natural wood panels.

Our company has grown over the years, but our commitment has remained the same: to operate efficiently, work in a resource-conscious manner, and provide our customers with reliable support. We do not see wood merely as a raw material, but as a valuable resource that must be used responsibly. That is why we focus on sustainable forestry, short transport routes, and modern production technologies that ensure the best possible utilisation of the material.

With more than 300 employees, we are one of the most important employers in the region. Many of our employees have been with us for decades – a testament to a company culture built on reliability, trust, and respectful cooperation. In our relationships with customers, we also place great value on long-term partnerships and customised solutions rather than short-lived trends.

Today, we supply our natural wood panels to numerous European countries and beyond. Our success is not based on big promises, but on consistent quality, practical solutions, and a philosophy that values long-term thinking over short-term achievements.
